Interesting events in unique spaces always peak our interest, so when Toronto artist Marie Tomeoki approached us with the idea of DJing her art opening at the new Bizune gallery, it was an event we were keen to be a part of.
Marie, on a budget to try and raise as much money for the Hincks-Dellcrest Foundation (whose One Night Stand we also DJed in May) was open to a collaborative effort rather than pay-for-play:
a barter of Art by Marie for Music and production by DJ Floh Back Productions.
The event at Bizune was a well-attended success, and Marie sold many pieces.
In the process, we made friends with the owners of the gallery, killer up-start
photographers Oink & Coo, and most importantly Gary & Marie
(seen below with Danny & Kim).

Last week Marie’s custom art for our dining room arrived on our doorstep.
